Access to standard reports can be controlled in the Report Permissions page:
Manage Center > Reports > Report Settings > Report Permissions
The Report Permissions link can only be accessed by the ndadmin user.
As such, only ndadmin can grant permissions to other users (even clones of the ndadmin user).
Case study 1
I need to grant Unrestricted Access to the R202 and R209 reports to user sysclone.
- Log in as ndadmin and go to Manage Center > Reports > Report Settings > Report Permissions
- Find and click on the R202 report and then use the permission selector to add Unrestricted Access to user sysclone
- Save permissions and repeat for R209 report.
- Log in as sysclone and go to either
Manage Center > Reports > Learning Reports
Home > Reports > Report Manager > Learning Reports
User can now see and run the R202 and R209 reports alongside the default reports.
Case Study 2
I need to grant Read Only Access to the R107 and R108 reports to organisation England.
- Log in as ndadmin and go to Manage Center > Reports > Report Settings > Report Permissions
- Find and click on the R107 report and then use the permission selector to add Read Only Access to organisation England
- Save permissions and report for R108 report.
- Log in as a user who is part of the England Organisation and go to either
Manage Center > Reports > Organisation Reports
Home > Reports > Report Manager > Organisation Reports
NOTE: As standard reports are hard coded and cannot be edited, there is no functional difference between granting Read Only Access or Unrestricted Access.
