In its simplest case, Equivalent Learning functionality enables an administrator to tag one course as equivalent to another course. Then, if Course A is equivalent to Course B and an employee completes Course A, then if one of their competencies requires the completion of Course B, the employee will be seen as having effectively completed this part of the competency. This document outlines equivalency related features and how the system behaves when equivalencies are employed.

Equivalencies is available for Performance, Learning, and e-Learning only

In ekp.properties file, this must be equal to TRUE, and a site restart is required.
