How to delete an exam attempt

Summary:
There are times that users are taking the maximum number of attempts that are allowed in an exam by mistake. This can be solved by deleting an attempt from the user provided that you are a system administrator or the role setting is set correctly for the moderator.

From Manage > Users > Role Access Control > Exam Manager Feature > Exam Participants Review
Make sure that the role access you are using is set to Unrestricted, the user will be able to view the list of exam participants as well as deleting participants' exam attempts. In order to delete exam attempts
- Go to the exam from the exam editor
- Click on the participant icon on the top menu
- Search for the participant
- Mark the checkboxes next to the records
- From the drop down menu Select the delete option
- Click Submit
