CSV data source chart is not displaying updated data
Applicable Product:
- OrgPublisher
Applicable Release:
- V21 and later
Summary:
When your charts do not reflect the most current data, please follow these steps.
1. First, check the 'Last updated' date on the Chart List page. This date is when your data source was last updated. If the Last Updated date does not reflect the correct date, then it is not picking up the latest file.
2. Next, verify that your file name is correct. In the example above I have a chart by the name of 'Hester OrgChart', which is pointing to the data source 'Sample_Test'. Go to the Data Source tab, type in the name of the data source. The Last Update date should match. If so then here you will see the true name of the csv file it is looking for. In this example it is 'Sample.Basic.Data.csv'. Check to verify that the file name listed here is the file that is being refreshed.
3. When your new file comes in the chart is looking for the csv that is listed in the File Name column. On your OrgPublisher server go to "C:\Program Files\PeopleFluent\OrgPublisher\Data" and verify the file name and date. Confirm it is the correct name and date.
