Privacy Notice and GDPR in iPaaS
Applicable Product:
- iPaas
Applicable Release:
- V21 or later
Summary:
For organizations that need to comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), PeopleFluent iPaaS provides customer system administrators the ability to configure a privacy notice. When enabled using the iPaaS Customer Administration Console and a privacy notice has been activated, end users will be presented with a Privacy Notice upon login.
The first time an iPaaS-enabled client accesses their PeopleFluent application through the iPaaS domain, the Privacy Notice page appears.
There is a choice of two workflows which can be deployed:
When user logs in and is presented with Privacy Notice, the user ... | |
Acknowledge | must click the Acknowledge button to login via iPaaS, otherwise the user is unable to login. |
Accept/Decline | must click the Accept button to login. If the user clicks Decline, they are returned to the logout page and can only login if they click Accept. |
Using User Settings, end users can review the privacy notice they either accepted or acknowledged. On the iPaaS Navigation Button, click Users Settings and then navigate to the Privacy Notice tab.
On the Privacy Notice tab, end users can do the following:
-
Print a copy of the privacy notice by clicking the Print button.
-
Click How to Remove Account to view instructions on how to remove their user data. Removing personal data is a manual process; customer system administrators must contact their PeopleFluent representative to do the removal. These instructions are intended to inform end users who to contact in your organization if they want their personal data removed from the system.
-
Click Withdraw Consent to withdraw acceptance of the privacy notice. Once the user clicks this button they are logged out of the system and will have to accept the privacy notice again to login. For users in the Acknowledge workflow, only the How to Remove Account link is available on the privacy notice.
