Summary
The Data Processing Scripts page stores scripts used by administrators to populate system configurations and other data from CSV files or pulled directly from SmartGrids.
Detailed Information
If there are a large number of stakeholder assignments for individual managers it may be easier to update them all at once via administrative script. All that is needed is a csv file with the IDs of the Stakeholders and the Employee they need to have visibility for as well as the area of responsibility. This can be done for Compensation, Performance or Succession stakeholder assignments. The steps are as follows:
1-Navigate to Performance Administration > Data Setup > Data Processing Scripts to see the available options. In this case we are using the AddStakeholderToEmployee script.
2-This is where you can review the notes on what information is needed to run it in the initial comments.
3- Once you have reviewed and selected a script you can set up a data process to run it.
Navigate to Performance Administration > Data Setup > Data File Processing and click Add
4-Enter the required information including name and the selected script then click Save
5-Next create and upload a file with the 3 required columns (Stakeholder ID, Employee ID and Area of Responsibility) then click Save
6-Click Process Plan Update to import the data. You will need to confirm on each screen.
7-Once complete a log entry will be displayed. Click the Details icon to review the import results in case of any error or warning messages. If the summary shows 0 errors and 0 warnings it may not be necessary to review the details in every instance.
