Summary: This article will assist with how to resolve the below error

Cannot add current position holders to a closed position Request SSRKs by Type: ["/Position": "vp-hr_EZ", "/Position/PositionHolderHistory/PositionHolder/Employee": "9946"]

Symptoms: Employee 9946 does not have a position assigned or a Manager. This will cause issues for the employee where their intended Manager is not able to see them in their reporting structure.

Solution: The error is fairly straightforward forward "Cannot add current position holders to a closed position".

1. Navigate to position vp-hr_EZ

2. Check the Close Date field.

3. Double-click into the Position Close Date field to highlight the text. Then click backspace on the keyboard to clear out the date and click save.

Now the positional information can be reloaded manually or you can wait until the regular file schedule without error.
