Summary:
How to display HeadCount in OrgPublisher V11 with HTML5 published chart
Head Count displayed in the ‘Profile View’. Below is an example of the Total Count displaying in the Profile View and then a ‘Graph’ was added to display what makes up that count. You can set up your chart to display either the Total Count and/or the detailed graph.
Head Count displays in the ‘Profile View’ via a Graph.
1. Open OrgPublisher application
2. Go to Custom Field Properties, add a field for the ‘Count’ or if you already have the custom field set up, then go to the next step. In this example I have a number of them set up. I used ‘HeadCount’.
3. Save the Chart and Publish the chart to HTML5
4. Next, open OrgPublisher Administration.
5. Find your chart, then pick the view you want to display the ‘Count’ on.
6. Click on your view, then click on ‘Graphs’
7. Then click on ‘Add Graph’
8. Add your Graph configuration and save.
Name – give it a name, in this example, I used ‘Head Count’
Data Type will be ‘Summary Field’
Field – this would be the custom field that was created
Type- is the type of Graph you want to display. In my example, I used Table to show the Position Types and counts. It will show you a preview of the graph on the right side.
SAVE your graph.
If there are Position Types you do not want to display, then follow these instructions:
Change the ‘Type’ to ‘Bar Chart’ then go down to the Segment section and check the position types you want to
display.
Save your changes, then go back into your Graph and change ‘Type’ back to ‘Table’, it will also save what
position types you have already checked. Now click ‘Save’ again.
9. Now open your HTML5 chart and click on ‘Profile View’ and you should see your graph displayed.
