Delete a Competency

Summary:
Administrators with unrestricted access to the Competency Manager and Competency Model features in System Roles (Manage Features > Competency Manager Features) can delete competencies.
You cannot delete a competency that has been awarded and has not expired.
To delete a competency
- Go to Manage Center > Talent > Competency Models. The Competency Model page opens with a list of the models at the top level of the hierarchy.
- Select the model containing the competency you want to delete. Its competencies are listed on the right-hand side.
- Select Delete from the action menu of the competency you want to delete.
- Click OK in the confirmation dialog. The competency is removed from the list for the selected model.
