Summary:

You can delete a proficiency level only if the proficiency level group it belongs to is not being used by a competency.

Administrators with unrestricted access to the Proficiency Levels feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Competency Manager Features) can delete proficiency levels.

To delete a proficiency level

1. Go to Manage Center > Talent > Proficiency Levels. The Proficiency Levels page opens.
2. Select the proficiency level group you want delete a proficiency level from.
3. Select Delete from the action menu of the proficiency level you want to delete.
4. Click OK in the confirmation dialog. The proficiency level is deleted.
