Summary:

If you see a blank space under a box like this, it is cause by your box formatting:

Here's how to correct it:

1. Click on the view in question - in this example, it is the "General" view:
   
2. Then click on "Format and Visibility"
3. Select the position type that has the issue - in my example, the affected position type is "Employee" as all the records in my example are "E" records.  You should see a gap under the box:
   
   
   
4. You will have to 'pull' up the section that is causing that blank space - in my example, it's the Lower Box Title section.  To close up that gap, click and drag up on that section's sizing handle:
   
   
   
5. It should now look like this:
   
   
   
6. Click on the "Apply" button and then re-publish your chart and the space should now be gone:

Cause:  this can happen if you add a field to a box for a position type, then copy the Box Items to other position types.  To ensure this does not happen, copy the Box properties first to the position type(s) and then copy the Box Items.
