Review Learning Paths in the Career Development Center
The Learning Path provides a graphical representation of learners' training, assigned via their training plan or as part of their job profile. Each item is represented by a card and cards are arranged in a hierarchical structure to represent:
- Training plan > learning programs > courses
- Job profiles > competencies > learning programs > courses
Completed substitute courses that fulfill a training requirement are also shown.
You can expand and collapse each level of the hierarchy to view more or fewer cards on screen at once. You can also click and drag the whole canvas to focus on different areas if the learning path is larger than the viewable area on screen.
Each card shows the name of the job profile, competency or course, along with its status and due date, if specified. You can move the pointer over a card to see whether it is a job profile, competency or course. When you hover the pointer over a course card, a pop-up link appears from which you can open a summary of the course. view the course details in the catalog, and enroll the learner in it. Job profile and competency cards always display a Summary link which opens a dialog from which you can drill down to more details.
Titles and descriptions for completed courses are shown in the language in which the learner took the course. For multi-language courses the learner has not enrolled in, this information is shown in the learner's preferred language or the course's primary language.
