Summary:

You can delete competency groups in the Competency Group Editor. Deleting a competency group does not delete the competencies in the associated competency model or remove them from job profiles to which the group was previously added.

Administrators with unrestricted access to the Competency Group Editor feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Competency Manager Features) can delete competency groups.

To delete a competency group

1. Go to Manage Center > Talent > Competency Models.
2. Click Groups. The Competency Group Editor opens.
3. To open the group you want to delete, click the Search icon on the Competency Group Editor toolbar and search for it by name or reference code. Alternatively, select the competency model containing group you want to delete from the Competency catalogs drop-down list. The groups assigned to the selected competency model are listed under the drop-down list. Click the group name to open it in the editor.
4. Click the Delete icon on the Competency Group Editor toolbar.
5. Click OK in the confirmation dialog. The group is deleted.
