Add SFIA Library Competencies to a Competency Model

Summary:
You can add competencies from imported SFIA libraries to your competency models individually or in bulk. You can add competencies to a model from multiple libraries, and add competencies from a library to multiple models. You must import an SFIA library before you can add its competencies to a model.
Competencies that have been added to a model from a library remain in the model if the library competency is deleted.
Administrators with unrestricted access to the Competency Library feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Competency Manager Features) can add SFIA library competencies to a competency model.
To add a category or subcategory of SFIA library competencies to a competency model
- Go to Manage Center > Talent > Library. The Library page opens with a list of previously imported libraries.
- Expand the library hierarchy and select the category or subcategory.
- Select Add category to model from the action menu. The Add category to model dialog opens.
- Expand the model hierarchy and select the competency model to add the category to.
- Click Add to model. The category, its subcategories (if any) and competencies are added to the competency model.
To add one or more SFIA library competencies to a competency model
- Go to Manage Center > Talent > Library. The Library page opens with a list of previously imported libraries.
- Expand the library hierarchy and select the category or subcategory containing the competencies you want to add. The competencies are listed on the right-hand side.
- Select the check boxes of the competencies you want to add to a competency model.
- Select Add to model from the Bulk Action drop-down list. The Add competency to model dialog opens.
- Expand the model hierarchy and select the competency model to add the category to.
- Click Add to model. The competencies are added to the selected model.
