How to adjust workflow when there appear to have no options move the workflow states to Accepted

This article explains how to adjust the workflow when there appear to have no participants available to move the workflow

 

Details:

There are scenarios where the workflow is showing there was no workflow in a particular stage but is still awaiting submission before the next stage can continue, this is usually due to there are workflow owners not in the correct workflow state because their manager / organization has changed but has not reflected in the current workflow.

 

For Example:

There was zero workflow owners in "Planning Recommendations", but there is an worksheet owner that was still in the "Awaiting Submissions" state.  This mean there is a worksheet owner with a worksheet that was without a correct manager.

 

 

Most of the time, the issue can be corrected by adjustment the workflow for managers affected, they are listed under "Manager Requiring Adjustments".   Click on the lightning bolt, and adjust the workflow accordingly by following the prompt.  This usually correct the worksheet by linking it to the correct manager.

 


If the issue trigger multiple levels, it might require clicking on the manage workflow a few more times.
