This article explains how the Ad Hoc Report tab under Decision View dashboard can be hidden

Details:

The Ad Hoc Report tab under the Decision View does not use the same visibility setting with the Ad Hoc Report section.  This has to be configured under a different Page Definition.

To hide the "Ad Hoc Reports" section under the Decision Views dashboard:

The Page Definitions associated with this section is "adHocReportListAction"

This Page Definition is also associated with a specific Security Group that is assigned to different User Roles.  Therefore, User Roles with this Security Group will be granted access to the "Ad Hoc Report" section. To hide the section, either remove the security group from the User Role or override the Accessibility.

 
"Can Access Report Wizard" - Roles with this security group can access the report wizard to create and/or edit reports.
