Steps to manually create User in Talent Management

Summary:

This article provide the steps needed to manually create a user within the system without using a file feed

 

Details:

The assumption was that the user already exist within the system as a person / employee so the account can be linked to the specific individual.  If there is no need to associate the account to an actual individual, it can still be done.

  1. Navigate to "Site Administration" -> "Users and Securities" -> "Users" -> Click "Add"

  2. Enter the information required and click "Save"

  3.  If the employee already exist, click "Select" to associate this account to the employee

  4.  Roles should also be added/removed if necessary

 

5.  Person Reference Key will be automatically generated and the Federated ID will be used to match with the iPaaS account.  What's needed will be to send the correct User Name to iPaaS.
