How to Disable a User

Summary:

This article demonstrates how to disable a user. Chart administrators and users with the appropriate permissions can disable a user's access to the Administration web app. Disabling a user prevents the user from being able to log into the app and displays an error message indicating that their user ID or password is invalid.

Detailed Information:

To disable a user:

  1. Go to Home > Settings > Users. The Users page appears.

  2. Click the user ID of the user you want to disable. The User page appears.


  3. Set User State to Disabled.

  4. Click Save to save and close, or click Apply to save your changes and continue editing the user's options.
