Summary:

Job profile catalogs are containers for organizing your job profiles. For example, you could a catalog for human resources job profiles, containing the profiles for different roles within human resources. You can configure access permissions for job profile catalogs to specify which users can assign their job profiles or edit them.

You configure job profile catalogs on the Job Profiles page. From the Catalogs Tools action menu on the Job Profiles page, you can select some or all of the following options, depending on your access permissions for the selected model:

• Rename the selected job profile catalog
• Configure access permissions for the selected job profile catalog to specify which administrators can view or edit them its job profiles, and assign or de-assign them.
• Open the Job Profile Data Loader, where you can import job profiles from a comma-separated values (CSV) formatted file.

Administrators with unrestricted access to the Job Profiles feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Competency Manager Features) can configure job profile catalogs.
