Edit Forum Category
When you edit a discussion forum category you can change its name, target audience and access permissions. You can edit only the forum categories for which you have unrestricted access permission.
Administrators with unrestricted access to the Discussion Forum Categories feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Community Manager Features) can edit forum categories.
To edit a discussion forum category
- Go to Manage Center > Communicate > Discussion Forum Categories. The Discussion Forum Categories page opens with a list of forum categories that your user account has read-only or unrestricted access permission for.
- Select Edit from the action menu of the forum category you want to edit. The Edit Forum Category page opens.
- Enter a new name for the category, if required.
- Click Target Audience to change the target audience for the category.
- Click Permissions to change the access permissions for other administrators.
- Click Save.
