Summary:

You can delete job profile assignment types when they are no longer needed. 

Administrators with unrestricted access to the Job Profiles feature in System Roles (Manage Features > Competency Manager Features) can delete assignment types.

To delete an assignment type

1. Go to Manage Center > Talent > Assignment Types. The Assignment Types page opens with a list of existing assignment types.
2. Select Delete Assignment Type from the action menu of the assignment type you want to delete.
3. Click OK in the confirmation dialog. The assignment type is removed from the list.
