Summary:
The "B" record type is used for representing an org unit in an organization. Here's some information on this record type:
- It is a record type that is not counted against the licensed charting level
- Boxes of this position type will only display the Box Title data
- In legacy OrgPublisher, it takes on the formatting used by the "M" (Manager) position type and therefore the background colour, text font and colours, etc. will follow the "Manager" position type's formatting
- In the new OrgPublisher, it takes on whatever formatting of the position type set as the Default Position Type - in this example, it is the "Employee" position type:
This means that things like box background colour, text font and colours, etc. will follow the "Employee" position type's formatting.
- When processing the data, as soon as OrgPublisher encounters the "B" record type, the rest of the fields are not read in. This is why a record with "B" record type with no name information is not seen as an Open Position.
