Welcome!
PeopleFluent is pleased to introduce our new help center experience. These updates build on our established resource library to provide a more streamlined approach and enhance search functionality, while maintaining the core support tools and processes.
What Hasn't Changed?
Before reviewing the key updates, let's talk about what hasn't changed:
- Support ticket process - The process for your Certified System Administrators to submit and track a support ticket is completely unaffected by these updates. Simply click the PeopleFluent Support option on the home page, or the PeopleFluent Support navigation tab, to enter a ticket.
- The primary home page options - The home page main menu options remain the same as the legacy experience and include; Knowledge Base, Release Information, Training and Webinars, Product Roadmap and PeopleFluent Support. There is an additional main menu option for logged in PeopleFluent partners.
- Site-wide Search - A major improvement in the new experience is the ability to perform focused searches within specific products. However, the site-wide search remains available in the page headers.
- Login - Users who log in to the site can continue to use their existing credentials.
- Core Resource Access - All documents, training and webinars, and product road maps remain fully available.
Key Updates & Benefits
Modernized, Streamlined Interface
The site has been updated with a refreshed look and feel, as well as improvements designed to enhance navigation.
- Navigation tabs allow you to move between categories without having to return to the home page.
- Article table of contents are used in long articles, allowing you to jump to relevant article content quickly.
Enhanced Search and Featured Articles
The PeopleFluent help center contains a large library of content. We have made several updates to help you locate the right articles at the right time!
- Focused search of the knowledge base and release information allow you to search for articles related to a specific product vs. the site-wide search that was required in the legacy experience.
- Featured articles are displayed for each product in the knowledge base and release information. Featured articles are driven by community activity in the site, based on frequent searches and article views.
- Popular searches on the home page allow you to quickly search for the most relevant and timely articles, such as recent releases.
Primary Workflow Changes
Although the core support functionality has not changed, users may notice some minor differences in how they access areas of the site.
Home Page Changes
- In the legacy experience, Announcements and Maintenance & Security links are listed below the main menu options. In the updated experience, these are collapsible sections. Announcements, such as holiday notifications and release announcements, are located at the top of the page for quick viewing. The Maintenance & Security section, where you can find maintenance calendars and answers to other maintenance and security questions, is located below the main menu options.
- Additional information links that were found in the Find Out More section of the legacy home page have been relocated to the home page footer. The only exception is the PeopleFluent Partners link, which has been moved to the main menu (for logged in partners).
Knowledge Base and Release Information Access
- These categories remain as main menu items on the home page. However, all product sections are available from a single screen. Hover on the navigation tab to jump to a specific product or simply scroll to find it.
Featured Articles Replace Article Lists
- In the legacy experience, there are menus that display long lists of articles for the knowledge base and release information. These are being replaced by the featured articles. Featured articles are curated based on customer engagement in the site. These targeted articles, along with a more focused search, can help you find the information you need more quickly and easily than sorting through a large list of links.
Product Release Archives
- Release archives are located in the list tables in the legacy experience. In the updated experience, each product has a Release Archives article where all previous release content will be located. This article will always be available as a featured article.
