This knowledge base article demonstrates how to add a candidate tag, which tags the candidate's profile, that allows a quick and easy way to add information to a candidate that you can use to search for on that specific candidate at a later date.
 

Details:

Candidate Tagging allows recruiters and other permissioned users to add a keyword or phrase to a candidate profile on which the recruiter can later filter and search. This means candidates can be grouped under certain headings, for example, "project management". In addition, you can add multiple tags to a candidate or make tags private or public.

Candidate tagging involves two types of tags — public and private.

• Public Tags – Public Tags are tags that, any user when associated with a candidate profile, any user can see. In addition, any user can remove a public tag from a candidate profile. Public tags are created by default.
• Private Tags – Private Tags are tags that a recruiter can create for their own personal knowledge. No one else will be able to see those tags when viewing that candidate. In addition, when searching for private tags in Candidate Search, you will only be able to search for your own private tags. Only the user who creates the private tag can remove the association of that tag from the candidate profile.

Candidate Tagging is only available to users with the appropriate role permissions. Those role permissions are assigned in PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal Administration.
 

To add a candidate tag:

1. In the Workflow or Candidate List pane, click on the candidate. The candidate profile opens in the Details pane.

2. Click the tag icon next to the candidate's name. The Candidate Tags window appears.

   
   
    

3. In the Tag field, enter the keyword or phrase to associate with the candidate profile.
4. Indicate which type of tag you want to create:

•  To make the a private tag, click the Make Tag Private icon and then click Add Tag.
• To make the tag public, click Add Tag.
  
  

5. The tags appear in the Active Tags area.
6. Click Close.
