The employee Journal can be used to capture notes about accomplishments and other things that you may refer to later when doing a self-evaluation. The Journal is visible from Talent Profile, or Goals and Evaluations forms. There are three visibility levels to choose from for the data entered into the Journal area.

The employee Journal can be used to capture notes about accomplishments and other things that you may refer to later when doing a self-evaluation. The Journal is visible from Talent Profile, or Goals and Evaluations forms. There are three visibility levels to choose from for the data entered there.

Journal Entries SmartGrid allows employees, managers, HR staff, and admins to view all journal entries for themselves or their assigned employees based on the visibility settings associated with each entry in order to see cumulative views of journals when needed.

Roles given the proper authority can view all journals for their assigned employees regardless of their visibility settings in order to evaluate the usage of the journal feature and access all data, when needed.

Analytics have been added to the solution’s journaling capability so that the real-time performance observations that people make on a day-to-day basis are assembled and conveniently visible for HR and management analysis consolidated into a visualization grid. Based on client feedback, this means complementing the ability to observe and record great performance every day with the means to give management real visibility into those performance trends.
