Detailed Information
The reason for this rejection is that TM does not support macro enabled workbooks.
As you may know, these macros are coded in "VB Script" and uploading someone else’s (unknown) code into a Talent Management system is considered a Security risk and thus is not permitted.

Summary
Compensation Administrators can create customized Microsoft Excel workbook templates (.xlsx) that can be used by other users to report on the data in compensation Worksheets and Smartgrid views.

The workbook can be customized to include custom formatting, additional tabs, charts and graphs, etc.

But when you try to upload an ".xlsm" (macro enabled) workbook template, the Talent Management (TM) application throws back this error message:
