When users are unable to view or review certifications for specific departments or organizations on the Certificate Review page—even if they have supervisory access to those users—it is typically due to object-level permission settings on the individual certificates.
To resolve this across hundreds or thousands of records without updating each certificate manually, administrators can use the Permission Data Loader.
Prerequisites
Access Level: System Administrator or a role with permissions to manage Roles and Permissions.
Data File: A prepared CSV file containing the list of Certification IDs and the target organization access settings.
Step-by-Step Procedure
Navigate to the Tool
Log into PeopleFluent Learning.
Go to Manage Center > Users (expand section) > Roles and Permissions > Permission Data Loader.
Prepare the CSV Import File
Structure your import CSV with the required permission columns.
ObjectIDColumn: Identify each target certificate using the prefixCRto denote a Certification object.Format example:
CR:<Certification_ID>
Map the necessary access rights (e.g., granting Read-only access for the target organization).
Upload and Apply
Select and upload your formatted CSV file through the Permission Data Loader.
Run the import process to apply the updated permission rules across all specified certifications.
Verify Changes
Have an affected user log in (or use the Switch User feature) to test.
Open the Certificates Review page and verify that all target certificates and records are now visible as expected.
