Detailed Information
After a workflow process is initiated, many of the fields that you use to configure the plan are locked and cannot be changed. This is done to avoid errors and misleading results.

Upon the initiation of a participant into a workflow process it changes to a 'Process Status' of Active. At this point, certain fields become 'locked'.

Also note that upon initiation, the defined workflow process becomes locked.

Prior to initiating participants into any plan workflow cycle, please ensure that you have selected the desired options. Some of the most commonly overlooked configuration options that become locked on initiation are:

Select the plan components on which participants will be evaluated Basics page
Would you like to conduct multi-rater evaluations within this performance plan? Basics
Does this plan support mandated goals? Basics
Goal Categories Goal Options

Assign Competencies to Evaluate Competency Options
