Access denied when hitting Web Administration URL

Problem:
I’m getting “Access denied” when trying to reach the Web Administration URL.
Solution:
This issue can be caused by a few things:
For customers hosting OrgPublisher with Peoplefluent:

- Incorrect username/password

- Make sure that when you type in the user name that you include the domain. For example, if the logins shows as hosting\Client1, the username you should type in is:
“hosting\client1” - If you copy-paste in your password, make sure that you do not include any extraneous characters. For example, when coping and pasting the one of the logins, blank spaces could be picked up and added to the login or password, be sure to type in the password manually
- Make sure that when you type in the user name that you include the domain. For example, if the logins shows as hosting\Client1, the username you should type in is:
Tip: Sometimes the passwords include symbol characters, to ensure you are typing in the password correctly, try typing the password in Notepad and then pasting from Notepad into web administration
For customers who have OrgPublisher installed on-premise:
- You may not be part of the chart admin group
- Contact your IT team to ensure that you are added to the chart administrator’s group
