Problem:

When I view a published chart, all I see is a grey bar.

Solution:

The grey bar you are seeing indicates that the OrgPublisher MIME type has not been set for the folder that contains the chart files. Here’s what you will need to do:

IIS6

1. Start IIS.
2. Navigate to the folder that contains the chart files in the left hand pane, and right-click the folder, and select “Properties”
3. Click on the HTTP Headers tab.
4. Then click on the “MIME Types…” button.
5. Click on the “New” button, and type in .ocp for both the Extension: and MIME type: boxes.
6. Click OK 3 times to get back out.
7. Try viewing the chart again.

IIS7/7.5/8/8.5

1. Start IIS.
2. Navigate to the folder that contains the chart files in the left hand pane, and click on the folder.
3. In the middle pane, double click on the “MIME Types” icon
4. Click on the “Add…” link on the Actions pane.
   
5. Then type in the following:
   File name extension: .ocp
   MIME type: application/orgpublisher
6. Then click OK.
7. Try viewing the chart again.
