How to Enable Chart Archiving

Applicable Product:

  • OrgPublisher

Applicable Release:

  • V21 and later

Summary:

This article demonstrates how to enable chart archiving when necessary. OrgPublisher Administration web app users with the appropriate permissions can enable archiving.

With PeopleFluent OrgPublisher, you can save an archive of your organization's chart, its associated data sources, or both for future reference. Archives can be triggered by publishing changes to the chart, loading new chart data, or via API calls.

Archive contents can be retrieved as a read-only version and compared to a chart's current data with an Excel-compatible change report.

Note: Archiving creates a read-only copy of charts and data sources and is not intended as a backup. PeopleFluent recommends using the export and import features to back up charts and data sources.
