Summary:

This article demonstrates how to locate your chart archive locations and file names. If your organization plans to use archives for audit purposes, then you will need to include them in your organization's data backup planning.

Archives are stored in the following directory on the server where PeopleFluent OrgPublisher is installed:

C:\Program Files\PeopleFluent\OrgPublisher\SystemData\Archives\<Charting Web App Name>\<Chart ID>\

An archive comprises an archive configuration and one or more additional files, all in ZIP format.

 Table: Archive Component File Names

For example, an archive for the Acme Galactic Consolidation chart (chart ID 12) in the Acme Galactic Secured web app is stored in the C:\Program Files\PeopleFluent\OrgPublisher\SystemData\Archives\Acme Galactic Secured\12\ directory and contains the following files because both chart configuration and data sources were archived:

  • 2021.12.15.16.50.09.archive.zip
  • 2021.12.15.16.50.09.chart.zip
  • 2021.12.15.16.50.09.ds.zip

These files were created on December 15, 2021 at 16:50:09. The date and time stamp is based on the server where the OrgPublisher application is installed and may not match the user's local time

You can locate a chart's ID by hovering over its name on the Charts page:
